Active Electrical Supply & Fox Lighting Galleries is a wholesale electrical and lighting distributor serving electrical, commercial and residential customers since 1953. Those who depend on us for quality products and service include professionals, architects and homeowners who appreciate our wide selection and our personalized, attentive service.

In addition to stocking thousands of light fixtures at our Fox Lighting Galleries Showroom in Chicago, our Active Electrical Supply staff offers Certified Lighting Specialists (L.S.) and Electrical Professionals (C.E.P.) to help you with your custom lighting and electrical needs. We carry a variety of electrical supplies from over 300 manufacturers, including conduit, wire, cable, fuses and tools.

Residential Lighting Division

Our Chicago office features our Fox Lighting Galleries Showroom where our ALA Certified residential lighting consultants, equipped with strong product knowledge and a wide selection, can assist you with any residential lighting area, from ceiling fans to landscape lighting and everything between.

Electrical Supply Division

Our electrical department averages over 20 years in the electrical industry. Not only that, the majority of our inside sales team are Certified Electrical Professionals (CEP). The CEP certification requires a minimum time in the industry along with continued training throughout each year. This ensures that our inside team is up to date on the newest technologies in the industry along with a stronger knowledge to assist our customers with even the most difficult product questions.

Our Services:

• We provide multiple deliveries daily by our own trucks, as well as same day emergency delivery service.
• Our Chicago location hosts a Full Service and Will Call Electrical Supply Counter.

Energy Services Division

Our energy services division helps businesses identify potential improvements to their current lighting and electrical systems to save money and reduce energy consumption.

• Rebates - We maximize your lighting projects by utilizing all ComEd/DCEO rebates for your lighting projects to offer you savings off your lighting. We also complete all rebate paperwork and submissions for your rebate incentives.
• Distributor - We are the lighting distributor. This gives you the freedom to do a self-install or use your own contractor or installer.
